From the 13th October 2020 support will no longer be provided for Microsoft Office 2010. RisksYou might be wondering how this will affect you and what you need to do. By continuing to run Office 2010 you will become vulnerable to security risks and will no longer receive security and feature updates that put yourself and your business at risk. Microsoft have also confirmed that they won’t provide free or paid support. Office 2010 was released to the general public on June 15th 2010 meaning it will be over 10 years old before support is stopped. Time to upgrade?One of the benefits of upgrading to Office 365 is that you will no longer be vulnerable to these security risks that Office 2010 will expose you too. Office 365 security and feature updates are regularly provided as well as support being provided. Office 365 makes accessing your data much more convenient, this can be access via your phone, tablet or a web browser.
Alternatively, you could look to upgrade to the latest version of Office 2019, which, as well as a host of cool new features, will be supported until October 2025.
